Where do bed bugs hide?
Bed bugs are what we like to call a transported pest, meaning they are normally transported in to a premises from an external source. Being that their bodies are flat and tiny they are easily hidden in small cracks and crevices and can be transported in cracks no wider then the width of your bank card. The bed bug can often be initially picked up from a places such as back packers lodge, public transport such as trains and busses and also things such as overseas holidays. Once the bed bug is in your home they will usually set up home close to their host, since they feed on blood this means they will often be found in bedside ornaments, mattresses, photo frames, bed frames etc. Once in your room they then begin to breed and spread throughout your home and nearby rooms.
